Excellent full breakfast followed by some TLC for my forks (pumped more air into them). Discovered rear tyre flat - replaced tube. Paul 2 snapped the key in the lock of his guaranteed unbreakable bike lock holding 3 bikes together. Could have been an interesting ride but for the availability of a hacksaw - thus proving the lock manufacturer's claims to be invalid.

Rain started as we set off from Princetown along an old railway track. Heading into the wind & rain, we were all very soon very wet & cold. I was very glad to be wearing my new knee & shin pads - they did a reasonable job of keeping my legs warm!

Not a hugely technical ride, though there was a long rocky climb which was fairly challenging. What would have been a fast run back down into Princetown was slowed by non-existant fork travel. Lunch in the pub, then back home.

Overall - a great weekend with excellent company, excellent accommodation, though only 3 out of 10 for the weather.
